Abilene police arrest man who assaulted woman, her daughter A man who got into a physical altercation with a woman and her daughter who tried to intervene was arrested, according to an Abilene police report. Officers were dispatched at about 12:35 a.m. Wednesday to the disturbance in the 5200 block of Laguna Drive. The victim stated that the suspect grabbed her arms and pulled her to the ground, the report said. During the altercation, the victim s daughter tried to break up the fight. The suspect then pushed the daughter in the face. The attack continued until the first victim called police.
