Jacksonville-based First Coast Energy L.L.P. bought a Southpoint building and is preparing for interior demolition toward what plans indicate are corporate offices. First Coast Energy, now leasing space at 7014 A.C. Skinner Parkway, No. 290, bought a 37,850-square-foot office building at 6867 Southpoint Drive N. First Coast Energy L.L.P. paid $3.025 million for the property May 14. First Coast Energy representatives did not immediately respond to emails and calls for comment. The company bought the single-story building, developed in 1991, on 4.8 acres from South State Bank, a successor by merger to CenterState Bank. CenterState assumed the property in a deed in lieu of foreclosure in March 2020.
