MARICOPA COUNTY, Ariz. - A child was found at a Circle K in Maricopa Tuesday afternoon and police say he was reunited with his family by night time.
The unidentified child was found along South John Wayne Parkway Dec. 15 at an unspecified Circle K gas station. Police say he appeared to be nonverbal and has special needs.

Maricopa police are seeking the parents or guardians of a young person found Tuesday afternoon.
Officers came into contact with the juvenile, who is nonverbal and appears to be special needs, at the Circle K on South John Wayne Parkway, near Copper Sky.

The child was located wearing a black-and-yellow Batman shirt, black pants and red sneakers, and riding a blue-and-neon-green Mongoose scooter.
