STOCKTON A man was kidnapped at knifepoint, taken to his bank and forced to hand over his bank card, and then held overnight in a hotel against his will before escaping the next morning, Stockton police reported Friday.
At 1 p.m. on Dec. 12, the man, 35, parked his vehicle at Grant and Sonora streets. He was approached by the suspects who brandished a knife and forced him to ride with them in his vehicle, police said in a post on Facebook.
They drove to the victim’s bank and demanded his PIN and bank card. One of the suspects withdrew cash and then took him to an unknown hotel. They forced the victim to stay the night. The next morning the victim fled on foot from the hotel. The suspects are two males, ages 50-60.
