South County Warming Center to open Sunday ahead of storm

Adults seeking shelter from the storm are invited to utilize the South County Warming Center for overnight sleeping Sunday.
The center is located at the Grover Beach Community Center, 1230 Trouville Ave, Grover Beach.
Guests are asked to not arrive before 5:30 p.m. and come no later than 8:00 p.m.
The center will close by 7:00 a.m. each morning. Sleeping cots and bedding will be provided as available.
The Center has an open door policy. Organizers say sobriety is not a condition for entry, however no drugs or alcohol are permitted on site.

The Warming Center at 40 Prado in San Luis Obispo will be open again Thursday night because of the continuing rainfall.
Client check-in is from 7-9 p.m. Overnight guests will be provided a dry place to sleep and a hot meal.
Pets are allowed and smoking is allowed in the designated smoking area.
The warming center closes at 6 a.m.

SAN LUIS OBISPO COUNTY, Calif. - The South County Warming Center in Arroyo Grande will be open Monday and Tuesday nights this week due to the incoming winter rainstorm.
The Warming Center is located at 800 W. Branch Street next to the library and will be active from 5:30 p.m. to 7 a.m. each day.
