Join the Action - SNJ Today

Join the Action It’s that time again. We put our calendar of events in order. We’re reaching out to prospective sponsors. Now, we need to get our army of volunteers to make our events and initiatives a reality. You can have the sponsors and you can have a plan of action, but volunteers are the “worker bees” that create that reality. We have staff, but something more is needed. Volunteers make up the “people power” to raise the money, come up with new ideas, create work plans, and do the necessary grunt work come event time. We have volunteers who have served for the 16 years that our Main Street district has been in existence. We also have new volunteers. Some of the “newbies” have risen in the organization to take on important responsibilities whether it is chairing a project, or chairing one of our four teams.

Train To Be Competitive - SNJ Today

Train To Be Competitive Businesses need all the help they can get during these challenging times. With all the obstacles that COVID has thrown our way, we still want our businesses to be the best they can be. That’s why we’ve been providing information to our small businesses on The Ave about grants, funding sources, and also, very important trainings, workshops, and webinars. Main Street Vineland has a good relationship with several of the organizations that sponsor trainings and workshops and I want to highlight some of the online trainings and webinars for which information comes our way:

Programs for Businesses - SNJ Today

Programs for Businesses It bears repeating that for our businesses working hard to survive during COVID, we are here to help you. It has become a major part of our operation, ever since the pandemic started affecting our businesses. Part of this task is sorting through the pile of information we get daily about grants, financial aid, trainings, and other programs then pushing out to our businesses the information we feel will be of most benefit to them. I’ve selected a couple of the most recent notices. We’re glad to share more with you; just give us a call. Be warned, however, that available funding or other limitations can change quickly. Money can be depleted and eligibility openings can fill up rapidly. That’s true even as this is written. Use these couple of examples of what’s out there for you and, as soon as we push information out to you, jump at any opportunity that looks good to you.
