Mike Haggar has a long legacy in the world of Capcom games. Making his debut back in 1989 with the original Final Fight, Haggar has gone on to make more playable appearances in the series titles and find a presence in several other Capcom games.
Oddly enough, the mayor of Metro City has never made his way into a main Street Fighter title as a playable character, but he has been referenced and even made a small cameo in some of them before. Top Hat Gaming Man recently put together an extensive history on the pro wrestler turned politician, and in it we learn more about Haggar s history with the Street Fighter franchise.

LiangHuBBB has released a new episode for his Funny & Cool Moments series. There are plenty of moments seen in the video that will have even the veteran fighting game players raising their eyebrows.

Rose s Street Fighter 5: Champion Edition prologue appeared to foreshadow some sort of return to the Street Fighter Alpha series. Somehow, Rose intends to impart knowledge that she has in Street Fighter 5 to herself during the era of Street Fighter Alpha, which takes place between Street Fighter and Street Fighter 2.
What could this mean? One possibility suggests that Street Fighter 6 will take place during Street Fighter Alpha 1-3. If true, certain elements of Street Fighter lore will be fleshed out more while other details could be changed entirely through retconning.

Capcom hit us with something of a bombshell following the release of Rose as they seem to be going in a whole new direction with the Street Fighter 5 s story soon. Since then, we ve been scrounging around and looking for clues that may give us more insight into what s coming down the pike for SF5 (and quite possibly Street Fighter 6).

Rose s new redesign in Street Fighter 5 has made the character the most interesting she s ever been in terms of the tools available at her disposal, but that s not the only intriguing thing about the fortune teller this time around.
Capcom has released Rose s official character introduction guide that showcases all of her special abilities, but also answers some questions from the development team that appears to confirm she s already time traveled in the past.
