Alberta Health Services (AHS) has expanded their walk-in appointments to obtain a COVID-19 shot at the Montrose Cultural Centre 9839-103 Ave, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. seven days a week.

Anyone 18 and over is now eligible to receive either their first or second shot of the Pfizer or Moderna vaccine on a drop-in basis at the Rapid Flow-Through Immunization Clinic in Teresa Sargent Hall.
Any adults who received their first dose of Astra-Zeneca’s vaccine can also walk in and obtain either a second dose of the A-Z vaccine or an m-RNA version. First doses of Astra-Zeneca are not available.

Those who had appointments at the health unit will have to go to the new location. There are some pharmacies in town vaccinating people Ñ those locations are unaffected by the new change. People getting their corona virus shots will now have to get them done at a large-scale vaccination site in Grande Prairie.
