Oklahoma lawmaker pushes to establish Bigfoot hunting season 2 months 17 hours 32 minutes ago Thursday, January 21 2021 Jan 21, 2021 January 21, 2021 12:48 PM January 21, 2021 in News Source: WBRZ Photo: history.com OKLAHOMA CITY - An Oklahoma representative presented a bill this week to establish a hunting season dedicated to the fabled Bigfoot.  The bill, introduced by Representative Justin Humphrey, would take effect later this year if it is approved.  The Oklahoma Wildlife Conservation Commission shall promulgate rules establishing a Bigfoot hunting season. The Commission shall set annual season dates and create any necessary specific hunting licenses and fees . You can read the bill here. Humphrey represents a large part of Southeastern Oklahoma, which is infamous for alleged Bigfoot sightings. A Bigfoot festival is held in the area annually, but this year s festival was canceled due to COVID-19.

Heavy rain will begin to impact the northwest half of the region, including the Middle Red River Valley of Northeast Texas, Southeast Oklahoma and Southwest Arkansas late in the day today through tonight with that heavy rain threat to include the remainder of the Four State Region Thursday into Thursday Evening. A Flash Flood Watch has been issued for the northwest half of our region.
