One of such people is the 11th Vice-Chancellor, University of Ibadan and immediate past Minister of Health, Federal Republic of Nigeria, Prof. Isaac Adewole, a man of keen intellect. Beaudry is best known as an assistant coach with the 2017/18 Humboldt Broncos, who were involved in a bus crash that killed 16 people. Since that time Beaudry has been heavily involved in the field of mental health and healing, including creatingthe first online mental wellness course for students, Mental Wellness 30 at the Distance Learning Center In Kenaston. He is working with the Canadian Mental Health association in a Peer Support Role and with Prairie Hospice as a volunteer hospice worker, among other activities. The event is being live streamed, and the fee structure is Pay What You Will, with corporate rates available to organizations that would like to purchase more than 10 tickets for their staff members. Nevada County supervisors launch $250,000 Last-Mile Broadband Grant Program

FROM A RELEASE: Expediting access to the internet for all residents is the goal of Nevada County’s “Last-Mile Broadband Grant Program.” With the Board of Supervisors’ allocation of $250,000, county staff, working with the Sierra Business Council, seeks applications from internet service providers to support distance learning, remote working, and tele-medicine. “Reliable internet access is critical to our economy. Getting the community connected is a full-court press. With this Last-Mile grant, the 800 new connections out in Peardale, and the new Distance Learning Center & Youth Hub connecting students to the internet at the Fairgrounds, we’re expanding service where it’s most needed,” said Board Chair Dan Miller in a press release.
