The great escape This is with reference to the story, “The great escape” by Minat Zubair (YW, June 12). The story focussed on the kidnapping issue and ended well as the child successfully escapes from the clutches of his abductors. However, in real life, kidnapped children can hardly make a successful escape. Nevertheless, as kids, we should remain alert and pay attention to our surroundings, especially suspicious people, people following us or those we have never seen before in our area. Apart from that, children should stay far from the roads because sometimes abductors use vehicles to take their victim inside. I hope this story will make the readers alert and be more vigilant when they are out.
