Utah High School Student Wins National Award In The Arts

Credit Drew Williams A student from Utah’s Tuacahn High School for the Arts in southern Utah won a prestigious national award in theatre. “I just started bawling my eyes out because I knew how much this was going to change for me. And I’m just so grateful, Rebekah Uyleman said. Uyleman, a senior at Tuacahn High School for the Arts won the National Young Arts competition in the category of theatre.      This makes her one of a handful of individuals from the state who have received the honor, and likely the only Utahn to win the award for theatre.
