BELFAST In a July 7 email to patients, Seaport Community Health Center announced plans to move operations to the Bank of America (formerly MBNA) complex at 21 Schoodic Drive.
Seaport’s parent company, Penobscot Community Health Care, the email said, is under contract to buy the property with closing anticipated before the end of the year.
Seaport, which currently serves 8,000 people with family medicine, walk-in care, mental health and recovery, pharmacy and care management services, according to the press release, “is bursting at the seams,” the email said. The move will allow Seaport to expand and offer new services as well.
