Migrants find new tactics to hide from Border Patrol agents
YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA, KECY) - Yuma Sector Border Patrol agents say migrants continue to try just about anything to hide from them.
U.S. Border Patrol says migrants with criminal histories or warrants often hide under piles of sand and hay to avoid being seen. However, agents say they continue to do everything they can to apprehend those running from them in the fields.
On Tuesday, agents stopped a 15-year-old driving an ATV with four migrants south of the Foothills. Agents said one migrant was sitting on a bench seat, and the other three sat on the bench attached to the back.
