MDHA building on north side to be rehabbed The Metro Development and Housing Agency apartment building that sits on the southeast corner of 10th Avenue North and Jefferson Street in North Nashville s Hope Gardens is slated for a rehab. The 54-unit building, sometimes called 10th & Jefferson, was damaged during the early March tornado. Camco Construction and Restoration is handling the job, with the permit valued at $500,000. The four-story building, whose apartments have a restricted income component, has an address of 941 Jefferson St. Nashville-based Kline Swinney Associates has an approximately $400,000 contract for architectural and engineering services related to the development. Images released for planned Gulch building

Also: South Nashville home of testing lab sells for $1M Additional images have been released regarding a tower planned for The Gulch site home to A+ Storage. Chicago-based real estate investment, development and construction company LG is seeking a 16-story high-rise that will offer about 215,000 square feet of office space on six floors, 342 residential units on eight floors and a parking structure with 860 spaces. The tower will rise about 240 feet, making it one of downtown Nashville’s 50 tallest buildings if standing today. Chicago-based Norr Architects (stylized as NORR ) is handling design. Of note, the building’s rooftop amenities space would offer a pool, a hot tub and a co-working room.
