Denuto was arrested Feb. 15, 2020 after an investigation he secretly recorded several adults and had sexual contact with a juvenile.
He is accused of secretly filming several adult victims, and also had criminal sexual contact with a minor, and was in possession of materials that depicted sexual exploitation of children, authorities said.
Denuto had likewise photographed seven other victims’ intimate parts without their knowledge, and inappropriately touched five of those victims, Ciccone and Zebrowski said.

A former special education teacher at Sayreville Middle School and former wrestling coach at Union County College has been indicted on multiple charges involving his criminal sexual contact with a minor who was known to him and the surreptitious filming of several adult victims.
On April 22, John M. Denuto, 44, of Spotswood, was indicted on four counts of endangering the welfare of a child in the first-, second-, and third-degree stemming from his filming and possession of child sexual exploitation material, as well as eight counts of invasion of privacy in the third-degree, six counts of aggravated criminal sexual contact in the third-degree, six counts of criminal sexual contact in the fourth-degree, two counts of witness tampering in the third-deg
SOUTH BEND â A 16-year-old who was shot Monday afternoon on Fellows Street died from his injuries in the hospital.
The boy, Edwardo Rivera, was one of three people shot Monday in South Bend and his death marks the 13th reported shooting, and the third fatal shooting, in the city since the beginning of April.
âI know many of the people out here, and they are frustrated,â said South Bend Police Chief Scott Ruszkowski on Monday at the scene on Fellows Street. âWhen the weather gets better, more people get outside. When more people go outside, thereâs more opportunity for paths to cross.â
