BOSTON Mayor Marty Walsh has joined a growing faction of political leaders supporting the removal of President Trump from power in the wake of a violent insurrection attempt by his followers at the U.S. Capitol. I absolutely believe that the president should be removed from office, Walsh said Thursday while giving a coronavirus update for the city.
The mayor agreed with U.S. senators and representatives from Massachusetts who have called for Vice President Mike Pence and Trump s Cabinet to invoke the 25th Amendment, which would start the process of possibly removing him from the White House.
