Two Durban police detectives were killed when a truck hit the vehicle in which they were travelling on Tuesday morning.
KwaZulu-Natal police spokesperson Col Thembeka Mbele said a case of culpable homicide was being investigated by Bellair police.
“It is alleged today at 4.30am two police officers stationed at Cato Manor detectives were driving on Edwin Swales Drive when their vehicle was struck by a truck which failed to stop at a set of robots.

For the past two days, investigators from the Amador County Sheriff s Office followed up on multiple tips regarding the suspect s whereabouts. On Friday, January 22, 2021, they developed information that Adams was possibly in the Reno area.

SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. - An explosion and subsequent fire at a South Lake Tahoe home Friday was the result of a butane honey oil (BHO) processing explosion, according to South Lake Tahoe Police Department (SLTPD).
On January 15, 2021 at approximately noon, South Lake Tahoe Fire Rescue (SLTFR) responded to the call of structure fire in the 900 block of Alameda Avenue. Upon arrival they found the fire was confined to the home s kitchen and the occupant had been able to put the flames out and there was smoke in the home and attic space. SLTFR observed signs of a marijuana grow at the location and contacted SLTPD.
