Bealmear recalled the former wide receiver s positive energy. He would go out of his way to say hello to me and high five. He had that kind of spirit around everybody. He lifted their spirits, Bealmear said. He was positive. He was a good guy.
Nykara Dixon, who also graduated from Bosse in 2020 and was pictured with him in that homecoming picture, recalled how Toone was always smiling and polite when she saw him after graduation. The two were on Bosse s football homecoming court together in 2019.

EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WFIE) - Evansville police are investigating a shooting that happened early Saturday morning.
EPD says officers heard multiple gunshots being fired from the 300 block of Taylor Ave. around 1:15 a.m. Dispatch also told officers that they were receiving multiple calls about shots being fired in the same area.
When officers arrived, police say several vehicles were leaving the area and people were running, screaming someone had been shot. That’s when police say someone took them to the 1400 block of Judson St., which is where the victim was.
Evansville Police: One shot following argument in McDonald s drive-thru
Officers responded to a shooting at the McDonald s at 1148 Washington Ave. around 8:30 p.m.
EPD spokesman Sgt. Nick Winsett said the male victim was shot in the thigh and lower abdomen while waiting for food his car. An ambulance transported the victim to a local hospital for treatment, and he is expected to survive.
Witnesses old police the shooting happened after an argument between the victim and a person in another vehicle in the drive-thru.

EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WFIE) - If you recently had packages taken from your porch in the area of Weinbach and E. Franklin, the Evansville Police Department might have them.
EPD picked up a guy over the weekend who was carrying some stolen packages. Officers say he had removed the labels from the packaging making it difficult to find the victims.

NEWBURGH, Ind. A Newburgh man was arrested earlier this week and remains in jail in lieu of half-million dollar bond in connection with 37 sex crime charges.
Shane Collins, 32, has been charged with two counts of level 1 felony child molesting, one count of level 4 felony child molesting and level 4 felony incest, 16 counts of level 4 child exploitation and 17 counts of level 5 felony possession of child pornography.
The Warrick County Sheriff’s Office Detectives assigned to the Indiana Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force received a CyberTipline Report on March 29 from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children showing someone in Newburgh had uploaded images and videos containing child pornography to the internet, according to a release from the Sheriff s Office.
