DUBAI, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News / WAM - 01st Apr, 2021) The Dubai Foundation for Women and Children (DFWAC) has launched its annual Protect Childhood campaign to raise awareness and prevent child abuse.
DFWAC s Protect Childhood campaign in its 11th edition, is sponsored by the UAE s Ministry of Interior under the theme Donât parent with your ego , and will run until the end of April.
This year s campaign will focus on raising awareness on the emotional aspect of child abuse and the impact of this type abuse on children and their self-esteem.

An Indian virologist said she was in the midst of teaching a course at a Dubai institution when she was alerted to the first Covid-19 case in the UAE.
Dr Nishi Singh who was part of the team that worked on the care of the first Covid-19 patient in the UAE, was recounting her experience of dealing with the Covid-19 pandemic in the UAE at a panel discussion by the Consulate General of India in Dubai on International Women’s Day.
