The bodies of two people have been found inside a vehicle off the Angeles Crest Highway that has been connected to the case of two missing teenagers.
The car was located about 2 p.m. Tuesday near mile marker 71.5 of the Angeles Crest Highway, according to Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Deputy Trina Schrader.
Schrader said that a coroner would have to identify the bodies and that she could not provide information on the victims’ ages or cause of death.
Sophia Rayanne Edwards, 19, and Ethan Manzano, 19, were last seen about 1:30 p.m. July 1 near mile marker 51 of the Angeles Crest Highway in the Angeles National Forest, according to the Sheriff’s Department.

COVINA (CNS) - A suspect who holed up overnight inside a Covina residence finally surrendered to authorities after a sheriff s SWAT team used hot gas to force him out.
The drama, which began at a home in the 200 block of Forestdale Avenue, around 3:30 p.m. Tuesday ended at some point between 7 a.m. and 7:30 a.m. the following morning when the Los Angeles County Sheriff s Department s SWAT team fired gas into the home, according to Deputy Trina Schrader.
Covina police called in the SWAT unit and negotiators to help resolve the situation.
Broadcast reports indicated the suspect was wanted vehicular manslaughter, and video showed a sheriff s bomb squad truck at the scene.

HUNTINGTON PARK (CNS) - The Los Angeles County Sheriff s Department continued its search today for a missing 29-year-old woman last seen in the unincorporated Florence area.
Stephanie Privich was last seen about 10 a.m. on April 9 in the 1400 block of East 64th Street, near Compton and Gage avenues and Huntington Park, according to Deputy Trina Schrader.
Privich is white. She stands 5 feet, 2 inches tall and weighs about 164 pounds. She has blond hair and green eyes. She was last seen wearing a black shirt with white stars.
Anyone with information about Privich s whereabouts was asked to call the Sheriff s Missing Persons Unit at 323-890-5500 or 911. Tipsters can also call Crime Stoppers at 800-222-8477.
