Funding of €174,000 has been awarded to Enniscorthy Municipal District Council under the Built Heritage Scheme. The funding will be used to rejuvenate Slaney Street and Mary Street as part of the Historic Towns initiative and, in welcoming the funding, Deputy Paul Kehoe, said that initiative is aimed at provide support to historic towns engaged in a programme of heritage-led regeneration.
