Officer in California suspected of killing 2 people in separate incidents charged By: Jamal Andress, Newsy and last updated 2021-04-23 20:47:32-04 Footage of a March 11 police shooting in Danville, California, starts with an officer asking a man to stop walking away from him. The voice you hear is of Contra Costa County Sheriff s Deputy Andrew Hall. He’s speaking to 32-year-old homeless man Tyrell Wilson. Wilson pulls out a knife. Officer Hall tells Wilson to drop the knife three times in quick succession. Wilson refuses. Hall shoots him in the head.  The officer is now facing felony manslaughter and assault charges — but not in connection with this shooting.
