WINONA, Minn. (KWNO)-There was a changing of the guard for the Winona County Sheriff’s Office this week.
After nine years of service, the office’s K-9 Cleo retired. Deputy Adam Carlson, who handles the office’s K-9s, let Cleo out of the squad car and prompted K-9 Doc into the squad to take Cleo’s place.
Sheriff Ron Ganrude says the K-9’s are assigned to day shifts but can be called out when needed day or night.
