Police have shut down multiple parties across the city, including one on a sandbar in Sydneyâs south where about 100 people were gathered.
At 3pm, police from Sutherland Shire Police Area command attended Lilli Pilli Point following reports of about 100 people gathering on the sandbar. The crowd dispersed as police arrived.
Several people were treated by paramedics for intoxication. There were no arrests made.

Elsewhere, emergency services were called just after 4pm to a party at Whiting Beach near Bradleyâs Head in Mosman, where a teenager was pulled unconscious from the water. Bystanders performed CPR and the teenager regained consciousness.
