Southern Aroostook Community School students graduating with top honors for the class of 2021

DYER BROOK, Maine RSU 50 Superintendent/Principal Jon Porter has announced the following students will be graduating with honors for the Class of 2021 from Southern Aroostook Community School.
Delaney Greenlaw and Wyatt Harthorne are graduating Magna Cum Laude (3.4-3.75 GPA).
Greenlaw, the daughter of Jill and Travis Hogan and Aaron Greenlaw, is a member of the Southern Aroostook Chapter of the National Honor Society. She was selected as a delegate to represent SACS at Dirigo Girls State; was chosen to attend the Hugh O’Brian Leadership Conference; and also earned the DAR Good Citizens Award Winner.

This is the second year Cochrane High School students, spear headed by teacher Don Woodman, have undertaking this project. âLast year they picked-up the accumulation of many years. Hopefully a yearly clean-up will keep abreast of the problem,â Mr. Woodman said. Ideally the debris wouldn t be there in the first place.
