WILMINGTON â A new grant will be used to boost community efforts already underway to respond to the opioid crisis with a thoughtful approach.
Deerfield Valley Community Partnership received about $21,000 in Linkage to Care Enhancement Funding through the Vermont Department of Health Division of Alcohol and Drug Abuse Programs. Whether our kids are feeling anxious, bored or tempted by addictive substances, our response as parents and caregivers can be the same: Start talking openly about healthy ways to manage stress, anxiety and depression.

Wilmington Works was one of three Vermont groups to receive $3,000 in grants from AARP Vermont for Winter Placemaking Demonstration Projects.
