Over the past year, despite the challenges of the pandemic, skilled care centers and their staff have shown an incredible and steadfast commitment to caring for and ensuring the safety of their residents. That is why Benedictine Living Community Crookston is thrilled to celebrate our heroic staff, residents, and their loved ones during National Skilled Nursing Care Week (NSNCW) beginning on Mother’s Day, May 9, through Saturday, May 15.
This year’s theme, “Together through the Seasons,” honors the collaborative commitment of skilled nursing care facilities and their staff in providing compassionate, around-the-clock care to their residents during this unprecedented time.

This thread post is long because it contains over 200 records of reported adverse events in VAERS in which the adverse event description contains the word paralysis . For this reason, if you want to read the comments, you may want to return to the forum and click reply beneath the title of the thread.
The vast majority of events including the words paralyzed or paralysis pertain to facial paralysis (Bell s Palsy or other). However, I may have missed records which used Bell s Palsy and omitted the word paralysis .

At this week’s Crookston City Council meeting, Mayor Dale Stainbrook declared May 9-15 National Skilled Nursing Care Week. Additionally, Stainbrook declared April to be National Volunteer Month.
Employees of Benedictine Living Community in Crookston were present to accept the proclamations.

In total, 176 employees will be out of work while 43 are getting a reprieve.
The state Department of Labor’s Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification system requires business with more than 49 employees to provide advance notice of large-scale job reductions. Typically, the threshold is 25 workers or more than 33 percent of the workforce losing their jobs, whichever is greater.
In recent weeks, Breton Industries, Saratoga Center for Rehab and Skilled Nursing Care and Southwest Airlines have submitted WARN notices.
Breton said it would eliminate 65 of the 82 jobs at its facility on Sam Stratton Road in Amsterdam effective April 15. The longtime military contractor will be ceasing its military products line and commercial line.
