Samsung has stated that it is broadening its portfolio of Software-Defined Networking (SDN) solutions by bringing new enhancements that will aid various enterprises and mobile operators in administering networks efficiently. Thus far, its SDN portfolio has offered support for data center operations.
The latest SDN solutions with enhanced capabilities will be able to support businesses in various departments such as energy, retail, and education. The tech giant s entire range of SDN will also have the potential to support mobile access (xHaul), which refers to fronthaul, midhaul, and backhaul transport networks. As the new SDN solutions are open source-based and cloud-native, they can easily merge with third-party switches and routers as well.
