A father who adopted his niece after his sister s sudden death has been given one year to live after being diagnosed with a rare form of brain cancer that kills everyone who gets it.
Daniel Byron s older sister Meagan, 42, died from a heart attack in her sleep last October, leaving her 12-year-old daughter Tiana orphaned.

The selfless 40-year-old told Daily Mail Australia that taking the young girl in to live at the home he shares with his wife Mel and daughter Makayla, 13, in Spring Farm, south-west of Sydney, was a no-brainer .
