A woman who was found dead in a Yeovil park took her own life, an inquest heard today (Wednesday, May 26).
Jean Osborne, 78, of Rivers Road was discovered face down in the water at Ninesprings in Yeovil Country Park on February 4, 2021.
Tim Hayden, assistant coroner for Somerset, read statements from her husband and a police officer who attended the scene, finally recording a conclusion of suicide.
