Mary Elizabeth Fuller-Gerald
On Tuesday, May 4, 2021, Mary Elizabeth Parker Fuller-Gerald, of Chattanooga, passed at home, one day shy of her 90th birthday.
Elizabeth was born May 5, 1931. A Godly matriarch of her family, she came from humble beginnings, being widowed at the young age of 28 with four small children, ages two to ten, and raising them as a single mother for many years. She was a gifted designer, builder, and decorator. She designed, built, and decorated one of the largest and most impressive homes in Chattanooga - Windy Hill Estate. She worked alongside her husband, Clyde Fuller, in building Southwest Motor Freight, one of the nation s largest private trucking firms. She loved her family dearly, and she truly had a servant’s heart, always willing to help her family and friends in any way possible.

Rather abruptly, the pandemic forced parents to be an integral part in their childrenâs education again. Many parents have had to juggle working full-time from their home, searching for jobs, and helping their children keep on top of their remote schooling. While I don t ever want parents to be suddenly thrown into chaos like that ever again, I do pray that their role in their children s education continues as kids go back to school and life resumes as normal.

Jesus Christ died and rose from the dead, and that fact stands for all eternity. Studies by theologians and atheists alike show that the weight of evidence proving Christ’s resurrection is too great to be denied. Because Jesus rose from the dead, his death is unlike any other martyr. His resurrection serves as undeniable proof that the grave is not the final chapter. And accepting the resurrection power of God provides us with life that overcomes death even today.
