Tirupati/New Delhi, April 20 : In a 22-page letter to the Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) of India, Telugu Desam Party (TDP) supremo Nara Chandrababu Naidu alleged that the recently held Tirupati Lok Sabha bypoll will go down in the history of Andhra Pradesh elections as most dubious and undemocratic . The by-election to Tirupati Parliamentary constituency held on April 17 would go down in the history of elections in AP as the most dubious and undemocratic election held, wrote Naidu on Monday.

TDP and BJP accuse AP Govt of bogus voting in Tirupati bypolls:- The Tirupati bypolls took place today and there is a tough fight between the leading YSRCP and TDP, BJP in the bypolls. The opposition parties BJP and TDP accused YSRCP of bogus voting in the Tirupati Lok Sabha polls. Thousands of videos are circulated across the social media platforms showing the voters who are unaware of their father s name that is printed on their produced Aadhaar card. BJP leader GVL Narasimha Rao made open allegations about the bogus voting that is done. He said that the officials and cops turned mute spectators and could do nothing because of the pressure that is mounted by the Andhra Pradesh government.

TDP State president and former Minister K. Atchannaidu has challenged the YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) leadership to take an oath at the temple of Lord Venkateswara in Tirumala that the YSRCP has not indulged in bogus voting in the Tirupati Lok Sabha bypoll and the TDP will accept defeat.
Addressing a media conference here on Monday, he sought that the DGP, Nellore Collector and Returning Officer, Peddireddy Ramchanadra Reddy, Chevireddy Bhaskara Reddy and the Chief Minister should take an oath in Tirumala on the issue. He recalled that at the time of election notification, Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy had claimed that the YSRCP candidate would win with over 5 lakh majority. After the TDP leaders started campaigning in Tirupati, the party gained tremendous support.

The Telugu Desam Party (TDP) accused the ruling YSR Congress Party of having resorted to large-scale irregularities in the recently-held byelection to the Tirupati Lok Sabha constituency, at a press conference held here on Monday.
“The ruling party has made a mockery of democracy. The incidents that occurred on election day show the temple city in a poor light,” M. Sugunamma, the TDP’s Tirupati Assembly constituency in-charge, said at the press conference which was attended by TDP State secretary B. Changalrayudu, youth wing leader Sridhar Varma and city unit chief D. Bhaskar Yadav.

Tirupati (Andhra Pradesh) [India], April 18 (ANI): Andhra Pradesh Minister and senior YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) leader Peddireddy Ramachandra Reddy on Saturday rubbished all the allegations pertaining to alleged bogus voting in Tirupati, levelled by TDP and its leader Chandrababu Naidu.
Speaking about the ruckus that unfolded during the early hours of Saturday in a convention centre in Tirupati, the Minister said, All that is being said by the TDP and Chandrababu Naidu is a big lie. These are absolutely baseless allegations. TDP leaders and workers barged into a locked convention centre which neither had buses waiting nor had thousands of people occupying the centre at the time of the incident as the TDP is claiming.
