PELHAM, Ga. (WALB) - On Feb. 18, security staff officials at Autry State Prison near Pelham detected a strong odor of marijuana as Officer Kimbrya Almond attempted to enter the facility.
Almond consented to a search, which revealed several items of contraband, including, marijuana, rolling papers, pajamas, and a package of gummi bears with an odor of alcohol.
She was arrested by the Mitchell County Sheriff’s Office.
