Multi-cloud network security platform provider Valtix on Thursday announced that it raised $12.5 million in strategic funding.
Founded in 2018 and launched in 2019 with $14 million in funding, the Santa Clara, California-based company provides enterprise customers with a cloud-native network security service that can help protect both applications and services.
Available on a pay-as-you-go pricing model, Valtix’s platform provides automated cloud application discovery, security deployment, and application defense capabilities.
Last year, the company made its platform generally available on Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud Platform (GCP), and it now serves customers on all three clouds. Valtix has customers in the financial services, government, healthcare, and retail sectors.

SQUIRE Technologies raised $59 million in a Series C round, led by ICONIQ Capital, with participation from Tiger Global, Charles River Ventures, Trinity Ventures, New General Market Ventures, and SoftBank Opportunity Fund, the New York-based company said in a statement Thursday.

NEW YORK, Dec. 10, 2020 /PRNewswire/ SQUIRE Technologies has secured $59 million in a Series C funding round, bringing its total amount raised to more than $100 million.
Led by ICONIQ Capital with participation from Tiger Global, Charles River Ventures, Trinity Ventures, New General Market Ventures, and SoftBank Opportunity Fund, this funding round is the most significant to date. The Series C includes $44 million in equity financing and $15 million in debt financing, bringing the total raised to $105 million since the company s inception.
