FSU employees complete Advance Leadership Development Program

The Advance Leadership Development Program (ALDP) at Florida State University announced its class of 2020-21 graduates Friday.
The eight-month, cohort-based professional development program wrapped up on April 2, 2021 with a group comprised of 25 faculty and staff members.
ALDP is sponsored by the Office of Human Resources and is a training certificate program designed to foster the growth and development of high-performing leaders and emerging leaders at Florida State University.
During this academic year, participants engaged in a series of targeted virtual professional development workshops designed to:

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) â With the pandemic slowing and vaccines on the rise, event organizers for the Word of South Festival worked to bring live music back to Tallahassee. Our local government-supported providing a health and safety plan and worked with us to create a health and safety plan, said Sara Marchessault, an organizer for the event.
Word of South was planned around social distancing and mask requirements. There was also a limited number of event-goers allowed at what was supposed to be an outdoor music and literature festival in Cascades Park.
