Plans to convert an office block into flats and a penthouse in Bolton town centre have been refused.
Bradshawgate Flats PLANS for flats and a penthouse at former offices in Bolton town centre have been refused by planners. YSN Group applied to convert the first and second floors above the former Cash Generator store on Bradshawgate in to four two-bed flats and a single penthouse. Under the application the retail use at ground floor would remain. A planning report detailed the proposals for the three storey building facing Silverwell Lane. It said: “Two pitched dormers and larger flat roof dormer will be created on the front roof slope. “The front elevation of the property will be significantly altered with the installation of six Juliet balconies, installation and removal of additional windows and the rendering of the entire property.”
