On Monday, Tri-Township Fire and Rescue was called to the Harvest Ridge neighborhood in Memphis, Indiana to rescue a 14-year-old dog named Mazy. She was stuck in a drain under the driveway after being swept away in a culvert.Sign up for our Newsletters After about four hours, the firefighters were able to pull Mazy out after cutting through the driveway and into the pipe underneath. While she was cold and covered in mud, Mazy was injury-free.

She was lodged. 5:29 p.m.: Officers did a welfare check on an elderly male on Pleasant Valley Rd in Hillman Township. Subject was located and found to be ok. March 30 9:50 a.m.: Hillman Fire/EMS responded to a grass fire on Co Rd 451 in Montmorency Township. The fire was put out. 11:59 a.m.: Atlanta DNR Fire and Hillman Fire/EMS responded to a wood pile on fire on Royston Rd. The fire was extinguished.

POLICE BLOTTER: Eight car/animal crashes in Montmorency County | News, Sports, Jobs

Feb. 22 1:47 a.m.: A 911 call reporting suspicious activity around the Northland Apartments in Briley Township. MCSO Deputy responded to the area. 6:45 p.m.: A vehicle accident involving a deer occurred in Rust Township; deputies responded, no one was injured. 10:30 p.m.: While on routine patrol, a MCSO Deputy initiated a traffic stop in Vienna Township; subject was arrested for operating under the influence. He is now lodged at MCSO jail. Deputies cleared without incident. 10:44 p.m.: Dispatch received a call about a potential domestic assault that took place earlier in the day; investigation is ongoing. 11:37 p.m.: While on routine patrol, a Deputy spotted a car with its hazard lights flashing and stopped to help and see what was going on; the subject had just been involved in an accident involving a deer. No one was injured; officer cleared without incident.
