Diamantina Media shifts from ARN to NOVA Entertainment in podcast sales & content deal

“iHeartPodcast Network and Diamantina Media have mutually agreed to end their commercial partnership. Their podcast content will continue to be available for listeners via iHeartRadio,” they said.
NEPN said this new deal was more than just sales representation, and would include an investment in shared original podcast titles.
NOVA Entertainment’s digital commercial director, Kane Reiken, said the company identified DM Podcasts as a content producer at the forefront of pop culture in Australia, with considerable success in entertaining and engaging audiences across multiple titles.

The podcast hopes to help Australians escape their socially engineered echo chambers and just laugh again, even if we are inherently doomed as a nation, promotional material for the new title said.
Episode’s will be titled ‘How Good’s….’ with the week’s subject embedded alongside it – from ‘China’, to ‘a larrikin’ and ‘the economy’ to ‘our ABC’.
The podcast is being released via Diamantina Media’s DM Podcasts, and will be hosted by former co-host of
The Grade Cricketer Podcast, Dave Edwards, and writer Dane Eldridge.

Betoota Daily News secures highest debut on latest Aus Podcast Ranker

The Betoota Daily News Bulletin, a podcast produced by the team behind popular satirical news website The Betoota Advocate, is the highest debutant on the January edition of the Australian Podcast Ranker.
The podcast lands at #27 as the ranker, released by Triton Digital in collaboration with Commercial Radio Australia (CRA), includes Betoota’s independent publisher Diamantina Media DM for the first time.
Diamantina Media podcasts are published via its partnership with Australian Radio Network’s iHeartPodcast Network Australia, with other podcasts to debut from the publisher including Chat 10 Looks 3 with Leigh Sales and Annabel Crabb (#52), and fellow Betoota offering the Betoota Advocate podcast.
