Superman and Lois or even Brandon Routhâs
Smallville. So the iconic theme song âSave Meâ rings in our ears as the 44-year-old actor shares his current thoughts on returning to the red and blue for an upcoming project.
In late 2019, Tom Welling reprised his beloved role on The CW for the crossover event Crisis on Infinite Earths, but what about a feature length film? While speaking to Ernesto de Cuadros, Welling was asked about returning to Kal-El for the DCEU, perhaps for a role in 2022âs
The Flash. Hereâs what he said:
My buddy Rob Pattinson, he is going to be the new Batman. I would love â it would be fun to be the Superman that shows up in his movie, just because he is a friend of mine. Yeah, you know, who knows.

Though the story and life in Smallville for the Kent-Lane family has just begun on
Superman and Lois, a surprising character in Lois’ story has made the journey already so much more enjoyable: Chrissy Beppo.
As Lois and family moved from Metropolis to Smallville early on
Superman and Lois, Lois’ career prospects hit a snag when her interest in showing the world exactly what Morgan Edge is capable of made working at the Daily Planet, owned by Edge, impossible.
To the rescue, though, was small-town Editor of the Smallville Gazette, Sofia Hasmik’s Chrissy Beppo, who offered Lois a job and teamed up with her to show the world this other side of Morgan Edge. Which, to my surprise, has brought a beautiful character and friendship to life.
Todd Snider spent his childhood in Portland and when his family moved to Houston, Snider ran away from home to return there. After high school he drifted through Santa Rosa and Austin before settling in Memphis, where he established a residency playing at the Daily Planet.
His first album Songs From the Daily Planet takes its name from that time and it included Sniders first minor hit
Talkin’ Seattle Grunge Rock Blues. The song demonstrates Sniders songwriting style with lively and witty lyrics that typically dig deeper emotionally than you expect.
While in Texas Snider had his first chance to see the late Jerry Jeff Walker perform. From that point on, Snider was convinced that he could make a living as a performer modeled after Walkers’ style. While in Memphis he got the attention of John Prine who signed him to his Oh Boy record label and offered Snider the opening spot on his upcoming tour.
