Breast may be seen as best, but scientists are now devising a motherless alternative.
Labs in Singapore and the U.S. are creating breast milk without involving a mother. In a time when cottagecore and sourdough bread are the hashtags
du jour, the idea of taking one of the world s most organic, precious commodities and recreating it in a lab may seem rather risky. But what you may be surprised to know is that this milk isn t an imitation–it s the real thing.

When I told people I was expecting two babies, they d say things like, Two for the price of one! And when I found out I was having a boy and a girl, the reactions were even more over-the-top excited. I heard What a perfect situation! more times than I could count. Many people have even asked me if I planned to have twins and if I could share the method I used to get pregnant with a boy and a girl at the same time.
That s why I wasn t surprised when I heard recent comments from Paris Hilton, who shared that she s undergoing in vitro fertilization (IVF) in hopes of conceiving boy/girl twins. While I believe in reproductive autonomy and know Hilton is entitled to do what she wants with her body and money, her decision brings up so many issues both maternal and fetal health, privilege, access to fertility treatments, and ethical boundaries.

WAVELAND, Miss. (WLOX) - They say it takes a village to raise a child, but in Waveland, it takes lots of community support to build a playground for kids.
The very unique playground for Pre-K and students with special needs is going up right now with a little help from some friends.
“I reached out to some people including Chaplain Powell from the Seabee Base,” said Tara Scott, Waveland Elementary pre-k coordinator.
Which turned into volunteer help from 30 Battalion One Seabees, then word spread about the project, and from there the idea became a community collaborative.
The show will feature talented guest performers backed by a top-notch band, available online at no charge. The McSwain Theatre invites the public to watch “Jae L. & Crossover with Special Guests,” as well as other upcoming shows from the comfort of home at McSwainTheatre.com or . January’s show will have plenty of country favorites brought to life by vocalists from across Oklahoma with one special guest hailing from Kansas. Special guests include Jeff Sibble, Debbie Allen, Chandler Elliott and Dwayne Yoesting of Ada; Tara Scott of Duncan; Kenny Anderson of Edmond; Kenslie Clark of Durant; and Haylie Bagwell of Coffeyville, Kansas.
