The family of Vietnam’s steel tycoon Tran Dinh Long will mark a turning point in power if Long’s son successfully buys more shares of Hoa Phat Group (HPG).
Hoa Phat Group (HPG), one of the largest steel producers in Vietnam, has announced an internal transaction. Accordingly, Mr. Tran Vu Minh, son of Hoa Phat Group’s chairman Tran Dinh Long, has registered to buy 5 million HPG shares from May 21, 2021 to June 18, 2021. If this deal is successful, Minh will hold 53 million shares, equivalent to 1.6% of Hoa Phat Group’s shares.

Wiibike, which introduced itself as a technological startup in the field of green transport is one of the technology startups calling for capital at Shark Tank TV Show Season 4. Its major products are electric power-assist bicycles (EPBs) which use lithium batteries.
Wiibike’s chassis is made of different materials, including bamboo, an environmentally friendly material. The company also provides Wiibike kits that can turn normal bicycles into EPBs within 15 minutes.

The exhibited photos include two first prize, three second prize and six third prize winners and 10 receiving honourable mentions.
They are among a total 196 photo showcased at the event, which is co-organised by the Party Central Committee’s Commission for Communications and Education and the Vietnam Association of Photographic Artists (VAPA) to celebrate the 46th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification (April 30, 1975 – 2021) and the 135th May Day (May 1, 1986 – 2021).

The Nha Xanh Project – an initiative founded by Anh which aims to plant hundreds of thousands of trees across Vietnam – began in 2008 when the former lecturer shipped 2,000 golden oak and nacre trees to local officials across central Vietnam.
