The Copper Mountain College Board of Trustees have approved inter-collegiate women’s volleyball. CMC hopes to begin the program in fall of 2021. “The athletic department is excited for the addition of volleyball this fall season,” said Ken Simonds, Athletic Director. Anyone interested in supporting the new volleyball program is welcome to join the CMC Athletic Booster Club.
The Boosters invite volunteers and members from all areas of campus and the community, students, parents, and alumni to help build a solid program in which students succeed. To join the Booster Club or learn more, contact the CMC Foundation at 760-366-3791 ext. 4200.

At last night’s meeting, the board heard a presentation from Morongo Unified School District public relation liaison Laura Hall on the district’s public relations efforts, discussing demographics and statistics for district and school site social media pages and reviewing the district’s goals for communicating vital information with the community.
