A coronavirus case has emerged in the Blue Mountains prompting NSW Health to issue a public health alert for a number of new venues.
A staff member at Greenwell and Thomas Pharmacy in Katoomba has tested positive to COVID-19.
NSW Health has asked anyone who visited the pharmacy any time on the 26th and 27th of December to get tested and isolate immediately.
The same advice also applies to those who visited the Santa photo booth at the Burwood Westfield on December 22 from 11:15 to 11:45am, as well as the Punchbowl Office Works on December 21 and the Shellharbour Coffee Club on December 27.

Victoria s streak of 61 days without a single case of Covid-19 in the community has come to an end.
Three cases two women in their 40s and a woman in her 70s were reported to authorities in Melbourne on Wednesday afternoon, none of which are in hotel quarantine.
Authorities have already been in touch with all three cases close contacts and advised them to isolate.
The three cases are all in Melbourne s southeast.

Victoria s Commander of Covid-19 response, Jeroen Weimar, said in a statement that close contacts were identified.
NSW Health listed the new venues on Wednesday evening after 18 infections were recorded around the state.
The venues, which are across Sydney, the Illawarra region and Blue Mountains, require some contacts to self-quarantine for two weeks while others can isolate until they receive a negative test.

Tens of thousands of Boxing Day shoppers at a busy Melbourne Westfield have been ordered to isolate after six stores were visited by coronavirus patients.
Three mystery coronavirus cases - all woman, two aged in their 40s and one in her 70s - have emerged in Victoria.

Authorities believe at least one of the cases is linked to the Sydney outbreak.
The new infections end the state s 61-day streak without any new cases, and all 40 close contacts of the three people have been put into isolation.
