Brocco told the
Arizona Republic he s aiming to open the gym by the spring. According to the announcement post on Track Club s Instagram, its equipment and design will be provided by Arsenal Strength, a Tennessee-based gym consulting firm.
The club s mezzanine level will feature abs and cardio equipment, according to Brocco s quotes to the
Republic, while the ground floor will offer heavier machines and weights.
Brocco will continue to use the name and identity of Track Club, which operated in the DeSoto building for only 26 days in October 2019. Envisioned as a high-profile “Vegas-style” dance music venue with a high-style bar in its lobby, its sudden closure after less than a month was caused by behind-the-scenes issues between its co-owners: local developer Chuckie Duff, EDM promoter Thomas Turner, and cocktail curator Damon Scott.

An eruption occurred about halfway through the Minnesota Orchestra s New Year s Eve concert at an Orchestra Hall devoid of audience members. When music director Osmo Vänskä took the podium for the first time since early October, a catharsis gushed forth.
The piece was Starburst by American composer Jessie Montgomery, whose music is deservedly getting a lot more attention from American orchestras. This wind-whipped work for strings became an onstage storm in the hands of Vänskä and the 24 masked and socially distanced string players gracing the stage.

PHOENIX In a non-pandemic year, Arizona venues would filling with crowds of people ready to cheers and party. This year however, those traditionally larger celebrations will sit quiet.
For the Arizona live events industry, 2020’s New Year’s Eve is unlike any other. Viviana Cumplido-Wilson, the principal flutist with the Phoenix Symphony, says her New Year s Eve will be very quiet for the first time in her career.
“It’s definitely unusual for us to not be ringing in the new year in front of a big audience, Cumplido-Wilson said.

Women Laughing Alone With Salad, the company is producing a reading of a play written by a rising star from Milwaukee,
Turner’s play,
Eliza On The Ice, was chosen for the group’s annual Under Construction Play Program. The theater solicits plays for this annual program, with a reading produced by The Constructivists.
