Priceline enlists Samantha Jade for fundraising campaign via Humann Communications + Banter

July 7 2021, 10:52 am | BY Ricki Green | No Comments Priceline Pharmacy has announced its major fundraising campaign for 2021 via Humann Communications and Banter, as it celebrates 10 years of the Priceline Sisterhood Foundation.   Fronted by ARIA Award-winning singer-songwriter Samantha Jade, the “Support Our Sisters” campaign calls on Australians to head into their local Priceline Pharmacy store between 1 – 26 July, and round up their purchase to help raise money and awareness for the Priceline Sisterhood Foundation. Point-of-sale marketing and a consumer-led robust PR campaign will encourage customers to take part in the campaign by lending their stories and lyrics in-store about what Sisterhood means to them, providing inspiration for Samantha Jade to write a special ‘Sister Song’. The lyrics will be displayed in Priceline Pharmacy front windows across Australia for customers to read and be inspired by.

Life after radio: Jules Lund on how his years behind the mic helped him in business

Since leaving the media – where he was part of lineups including 2DayFM Breakfast (pictured above),  Fifi & Jules and  The Scoopla Show – Lund has launched influencer marketing platform TRIBE. Lund said this ‘pivot’ and success would not have been possible without the skills he picked up behind the microphone. “There’s a lot from radio I have to be thankful for,” Lund told  Radio Today.  “For a start, working in radio makes you bilingual – you learn how to talk the language of both advertisers and listeners. You’re answering two questions each and every day:’What does our audience care about?’ and then after your shift, you sit around responding to sales briefs asking ‘What is important to this brand?’ With the relentless pace of shows and client activations you simply get sharper and faster at nailing this.”
