A school has agreed to make its uniform gender-neutral following a campaign by one of its students.
Fin, 15, a pupil at Norton Hill School in Somerset, wrote to the head after noticing there were two sets of rules for boys and girls, which might cause problems to LGBTQ+ students. A two-vehicle crash on Highway 24 east of Hartsel left two motorists hospitalized with serious injuries early Saturday, according to the Colorado State Patrol.
The collision took place near milepost 248 at about 3:45 a.m. when an eastbound Chrysler drifted into the opposite lane and hit the left front of an oncoming Cadillac, investigators said.
The driver of the Chrysler, 25-year-old Alexandra Medina of Colorado Springs, tried swerving right to avoid the collision to no avail, according to the State Patrol.
The impact spun both vehicles, officials said. The Cadillac left the road and went down a slight embankment, while the Chrysler came to a stop on the roadway.

It’s never too early to teach girls some ‘real grown-up skills’ from budgeting and saving up to hobbies that they can eventually turn into businesses, like soap-making, knitting and arranging flowers. Some 150 girls in Sharjah got to learn all these things and more during a month-long virtual workshop.
Organised by Sharjah Girl Guides (SGG), the workshops for girls aged seven to 18 were aimed at helping them hone their creativity and keep their morale high during the pandemic.
