The Town of Stony Plain has voted to accept the Automated Traffic Enforcement (ATE) update from its contractor, Global Traffic Group. The motion was passed unanimously during the regular council meeting on Mar. 8.
For over a decade, the Town of Stony Plain has utilized ATE as a supplementary speed enforcement strategy to enhance traffic safety in the community. During that time, the Town has worked with two ATE contractors, Global Traffic Group and Independent Traffic Services Ltd.
