Subscriber only Emergency services were called to Rosedale at in the early hours of the morning for a shed fire. A Queensland Ambulance Service spokesperson said paramedics were called to Mineral Road at 3.09am. The spokesperson said no patients were injured and paramedics remained on standby for Queensland Fire and Emergency Services. qas

WEST UNION As the COVID-19 vaccine is becoming more available to members of the public over 80 years of age, the outlying counties are holding vaccine clinics as it becomes available to them.
At the present time, the vaccine is only available for those over the age of 80 and some county health departments are only offering it to residents of that county.
The Doddridge County Health Department received its first shipment of the vaccine on Dec. 15 which was delivered by members of the National Guard, according to the Doddridge County Health Department Facebook page.
The first to be vaccinated were people who are directly involved with COVID response.
Santa modifies yearly visit to Montague due to pandemic safety concerns

MONTAGUE Instead of his usual visit to Turners Falls, Santa will this year be touring the five villages of Montague in a socially distanced format.
In more typical years, Santa can be found at the winter festival, “It’s a Wonderful Night in Turners Falls,” in early December, where he rides into town on a fire truck, then meets local children and takes photos.
