Read Article OXFORD A Raymond man suffered serious head injuries when his motorcycle collided with a van turning left onto Norway Lane from Route 26 on Monday evening. The motorcyclist, Kevin Carter, 53, driving a 2021 Harley Davidson with a temporary plate, began passing a line of vehicles heading south on Route 26, according to witness statements, said Oxford Police Department Capt. Rickie Jack. The lead vehicle in the line, a 2015 Ford Transit van driven by Deirdre T. Malley, 37, of Oxford, turned left onto Norway Lane near the Honey Badger Restaurant, Jack said. Carter had already committed to pass the van and collided with the left side of the vehicle.
